Nic Ballara, Amanda Bulman & Denis Chin are the directors of ballara bulman chin – bbc architects. All are Registered Architects and members of the New Zealand Institute of Architects, and have been in practice since 2001. ballara bulman chin – bbc architects has offices located on Wellington’s vibrant waterfront.

The directors are responsible for several award-winning architecture projects, and specialise in bespoke residential and community work. Directing our application to these project types allows us to build on our history of design excellence and thoughtful use of site, while offering real improvement in our clients everyday experiences.

Our design responses have the latitude to consider the life-cycle of a project, and initial solutions are a step with foresight towards achieving the extraordinary. We have won both design awards and major contracts with this philosophy and use this proactive thinking in our work, whether for a large new construction project or a design for a small-scale residential reconfiguration.

The practice is committed to technical excellence, including a reduced environmental footprint, and has also undertaken a number of successful remedial weathertightness projects over the last five years.
